- 3 cups cooked premium basmati rice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
For Chicken
- 500g boneless chicken cubes
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Vegetables
- 1 carrot (julienned)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 green onions (chopped)
- 1 cup cabbage (shredded)
Schezwan Sauce Mix
- 3 tbsp Schezwan sauce
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp honey or sugar
Garnish
- Spring onions
- Sesame seeds
- Red chili slices
Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare the Chicken
Marinate chicken with soy sauce, garlic paste, black pepper, and salt for 20 minutes.
Step 2 – Cook the Chicken
Heat oil in a wok or large pan.
Cook chicken on high heat until golden brown and slightly smoky.
Remove and set aside.
Step 3 – Stir-Fry the Vegetables
In the same wok, stir-fry onions, carrots, cabbage, and bell peppers for 2–3 minutes while keeping them crunchy.
Step 4 – Prepare the Dragon Sauce
Add Schezwan sauce, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and honey into the wok.
Cook for 1 minute until fragrant and spicy.
Step 5 – Add Rice
Add cooked basmati rice and sesame oil.
