Ingredients

For Chicken

  • 700g boneless chicken cubes
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

For Butter Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tomatoes (blended)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare the Rice

Wash and soak the basmati rice for 30 minutes. Boil water with salt and cook the rice until fluffy and tender. Drain and set aside.


Step 2 – Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix chicken with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.


Step 3 – Cook the Chicken

Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.


Step 4 – Make the Butter Sauce

In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft. Add blended tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.

Add paprika, kasuri methi, sugar, and salt. Pour in fresh cream and mix well until smooth and creamy.


Step 5 – Combine Everything

Add cooked chicken to the sauce and simmer for 5–7 minutes on low heat until the flavors blend perfectly.
